James is building a new desk, to make sure he had made a square corner he measures 8 ft from the corner along one edge and 5 ft from the corner along the other edge. How long should the diagonal be between those two points if the corner is a right angle.

In this problem a=8; b=5; find c which is the diagonal
:
c^2 = 8^2 + 5^2
c^2 = 64 + 25
