question: Find the Lateral Area, Surface Area , and Volume of each prism. Leave answers in terms of pi or radicals or fractions .?
[diagram is a triangular prism with equilateral triangle bases (6 in side length) and height 17 in]

volume: base * height
= (6^2 * sqrt(3))/4 * 17
= in^3

surface area = 2(triangle base area) + 3(rectangle)
= 2(6^2 * sqrt(3))/4 + 3(6 * 17)
= in^2

lateral surface area = 3(rectangle) ---> don't include the bases
= 3(6 * 17)
= in^2
