Question 106359: I have a quadrilateral with four sides. base is 36inches. Left side is 24 inches. top side is 30 inches. Im suppose to find the fourth side and the area of the quadrilateral. My answer for the fourth side is 25.5 inches. I hope thats right. But I dont know how to find the area of this object. thanks

Weren't you given the perimeter of the quadrilateral? To find the fourth side you would need the perimeter.
It sounds to be a trapezoid, so the formula for the area would be;
