Hot tub covers usually cover just the open end of the tub, which is the top. Why do you need the height, is this a slip-on cover that covers the whole tub?
The top has a surface area of Pi*1.5^2, use your calculator
If you need to wrap around the tub, the wrap would have to be 1 meter wide and 3*Pi long, multiply 1* the result you get to find your answer
