Answer by checkley71(8403) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x^2+16x=2
x^2+16x-2=0
using the quadratic equation:
we get:
X=(-16+-SQRT[16^16-4*1*-2])/2*1
X=(-16+-SQRT256+8])/2
X=(-16+-SQRT264)/2
X=(-16+-16.248)/2
X=-16+16.248)/2
X=.248/2
X=.124 ANSWER.
X=(-16-16.248)/2
X=-32.248/2
X=-16.124 ANSWER.
