Question 981588: Simplify √36x^2
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If it is sqrt (36x^2),it equals +/- 6x
If it is [sqrt (36)]*x^2, it equals +6 x^2, and -6x^2.
What the radical is placed over matters a great deal. I suspect the first answer is what is desired.
