Find the fifth root (not the 5th square root) of 1.63.
Most calculators have a square root key but not the cube root, fourth root, etc.
To find a higher root than square root, it is good to know that the square root of a number can be written as:

In general, the nth root of a number, x, can be written:
So you can write the 5th root of 1.63 as:
and this can be put in your calculator using the caret sign (^)
So enter the 1.63 then the caret (^) then (1/5) followed by the = or ENTER key and you should get: 1.10264959142
