Question 937781: How would we expand (2sqrt (x-7))^2
Answer by rothauserc(4718) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(2sqrt (x-7))^2
note that sqrt(x-7) = (x-7)^(1/2)
now return to the problem
(2*(x-7)^(1/2))^2
we multiply exponents and get
2^2 * (x-7) = 4x - 28
