Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x)=3x+8
y=3x+8
x=3y+8
x-8=3y
(x-8)/3=y
y = (x-8)/3
The inverse function is f^(-1) = (x-8)/3
