QUESTION
Solve
square root of c - 16 = 4 - square root of c
ANSWER:
square root of c - 16 = 4 - square root of c
Shift all c terms in one side constants to the other side,
For that add (square root of c ) to both sides of the equation.
==>
square root of c - 16 + square root of c = 4 - square root of c + squarert c
==> 2 ( square root of c ) -16 = 4
Add 16 on both sides of the equation,
==> 2 ( square root of c ) -16 + 16 = 4 + 16
==> 2 ( square root of c ) = 20
Divide both sides by 2
==> square root of c = 20/2
==> square root of c = 10
Here we want to solve for c, so square both sides of the equation,
==> (square root of c )^2= 10^2
==> c = 100
So the solution is, c = 100
