Question 644934: 3x to the 4th power -5 when x is 5
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x^4 - 5
3(5)^4 - 5 ... Plug in x = 5
3(625) - 5
1875 - 5
1870
So 3x^4 - 5 = 1870 when x = 5
