your problem is
3/4[3^(1/2)]
=[3^(1-1/2)]/4
=sqrt of 3/4
=1.732/4
=.433

The square root of 3 times itself is actually 3. So you can write the top numerator as square root of 3 times the square root of 3. Notice that the denominator has a square root of 3 as well. One of the top cancels with the one in the denominator. So you are left with 4 times the square root of three in the numerator, and just one in the denominator.
