Question 622309: 7sqrt(3)/sqrt(10)+sqrt(3)-2sqrt(5)/sqrt(6)+sqrt(5)-3sqrt(3)/sqrt(15)+3sqrt(2)
Answer by jsmallt9(3758) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Please put parentheses around multiple term numerators and denominators. What you posted means:
But I (and I assume the other tutors, too, since no one has responded to your post) don't think this is what you meant. I/we suspect that the problem has multiple-term numerators and/or denominators. For example:
or
etc.
NOTE: If you want to see what I typed to get these expressions to look this way, click on the "Show source" link above.
Please use parentheses freely, especially for multiple-term- numerators
- denominators
- radicands ("Radicand" is the name for the expression inside a radical.)
- exponents
- arguments to functions (like log, ln, sin, cos, etc.)
Whn in doubt, use parentheses. It is nearly impossible to use too many parentheses.
Problems that are clearly expressed will get faster responses from the tutors.
