Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(1/square root 3 )+ square root 3
----------
(1/sqrt3) + sqrt3
----------------
Create sqrt3 as the denominator of both fractions:
(1/sqrt3) + (sqrt3)^2/sqrt3
-----------------
Now add the numberators to get:
(1+(sqrt3)^2)/sqrt3
=(1+3)/sqrt3
=4/sqrt3
Comment: You have it right.
Cheers,
Stan H.
