Question 521783: sqrt( 3x + 1)- 2=0
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
sqrt(3x+1)-2=0

sqrt(3x+1)=2

(sqrt(3x+1))^2=2^2

3x+1=4

3x=4-1

3x=3

x=3/3

x=1
