Question 52141: 1) Find square root of a16- the 16 is supposed to be a to the 16th)

Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
SQRT OF (A*A)(A*A)(A*A)(A*A)(A*A)(A*A)(A*A)(A*A) OR A^16
TAKING THE SQUARE ROOT OF EACH A*A WE GET A^8
ANOTHER WAY TO SOLVE THIS IS TO USE A^16(1/2) WHERE THE (1/2), AS A POWER, IS THE SAME AS SQRT.

SQRTA^16=A^8
