sqrt(3+2x) + sqrt(2-2x)=3
√(3+2x)=3-√(2-2x)
square both sides
3+2x=9-6√(2-2x)+2-2x
isolate radical
6√(2-2x)=9+2-2x-2x-3
6√(2-2x)=-4x+8
square both sides again
36(2-2x)=16x^2-64x+64
72-72x=16x^2-64x+64
combine like terms then set expression=0
16x^2+8x-8=0
2x^2+x-1=0
(x+1)(2x-1)=0
x+1=0
x=-1
or
2x-1=0
x=1/2
