Answer by Euler(11) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hey there!
( sqrt 18y - 27 ) = y + 3
Take square on both sides, you get;
18y-27=(y+3)^2
18y-27=y^2+6y+9
18y-6y=y^2+9+27
12y=y^2+36
y^2-12y+36=0
y^2-6y-6y+36=0
y(y-6)-6(y-6)=0
(y-6)(y-6)=0
y-6=0 y-6=0
y=6 y=6 :)
