Question 417317: Could you please help me reduce this equation?
Answer by scott8148(6628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2^5 * 2^2 = 128
extract the "whole" fifth root
fifth root (2^5 * 2^2) = 2 [fifth root(2^2)]
7 / fifthroot(128) = 7 / {2 [fifth root(2^2)]}
to remove radical from the denominator
multiply by ___ [fifth root(2^3)] / [fifth root(2^3)]
{7 [fifth root(2^3)]} / {2 [fifth root(2^2)] [fifth root(2^3)]}
{7 [fifth root(2^3)]} / {2 [fifth root(2^5]}
{7 [fifth root(2^3)]} / 4
