Question 359541: Hi. I have x as a function of z(below). I need z as a function of x!
x=sqrt(z-1)(4z-1)/sqrt(3z-1)
I can't seem to figure it out in hand! So i tried to solve it on a ti89, but it only gives me strange answers involving irregular numbers. I also tried to solve it on mathcad, wiyhout any luck.
If i insert say 0,3 as z, i get 0,529. Shouldn't i then be able to find a equation for z, where i can insert the 0,529 and get 0,3?
Is this possible or what?
