(5-4 sqrt5)(-2+ sqrt5)
I'm sorry I couldn't type the square root sign. I am not sure what to do/where to begin with the number before the square root sign. Do I just add and subtract them out and them continue with simplifying my problem from there, or is there something special I need to do first. Thank you for your help again.

it's regular expansion
(5-4root5)(-2+root5) = (5*-2)+(5root5)+(-4root5*-2)+(-4root5*root5)
=(-10)+(5root5)+(8root5)+(-4*5)
=(-10)+(13root5)+(-20)
=13root5-30
