How can 29, which is a whole number itself, be between two consecutive whole numbers? The idea that two whole numbers are consecutive means that there are no whole numbers between them.

That is unless "wholw numbers" is a concept that I have yet to learn and you didn't actually mean "whole" numbers. In that case, all bets are off.
