Question 279166: i must simplify 2sqrt3 + sqrt27 -sqrt1/3. thank you for the help if possible
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
simplify 2sqrt(3) + sqrt(27) -sqrt(1/3)
-------------------------
= 2sqrt(3) + sqrt(9*3) - sqrt(3/9)
----
= 2sqrt(3) + 3sqrt(3) - (1/3)sqrt(3)
---
= (2 + 3 - 1/3)sqrt(3)
---
= (14/3)sqrt(3)
OR
= [4 2/3]sqrt(3)
