Any number, EXCEPT 0, to the power of 0 IS 1.
Lets take an example:
2^3 = 8
2^2 = 4
2^1 = 2
2^0 = ??
Notice that the pattern is to divide by 2.
So, 2^0 = 2/2 = 1
Now, lets use rules of exponents
2^2/2^2 = 2^0
2^2 / 2^2 = 1
by transitive property
1 = 2^0.
In general we could have used A to get the same result.
