Label and Tell If They Are Functions Or Not

Answer by edjones(8007)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x)=x^2
y=x^2
x=y^2
y=sqrt(x)
f^-1(x)=sqrt(x)
.
The are both functions bun not inverses of each other.
The bottom graph is not the inverse of the top because the graphs are not reflctions of each other. There is no one to one relationship between the points on each graph.
You will have to do the labeling.
