Multiply both sides by 8.
Now add to both sides.

1/8*SQRT(X-7)=2 NOW SQUARE BOTH SIDES.
1/64(X-7)=4
(X-7)/64=4 CROSS MULTIPLY.
X-7=256
X=256+7
X=263 ANSWER.
PROOF:
1/8*SQRT(263-7)=2
1/8*SQRT*256=2
1/8*16=2
16/8=2
2=2
