: Evaluate each radiacal expression if it is a real number use a calculator toapproximate irrational numbers to nearest 100th. If the expression is not a real # so state.
Problem is
A negative in front of Cube root of negative 125.
Please tell me how to plug this into calcalator.
I am thinking this cannot be cubed.
Since 125 does not evenly divide out by 3.
It is a negative and then a negative number so would this be imaginary.
I am really struggling with math altogether so any help would truly be a blessing.
How can this be pluged into the calculator. A BII Plus texas or can it?

How does one plug in fractions into this calculator? or is it not possible?
Please help me.
Thank You.

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A negative in front of Cube root of negative 125.
--------------
-(-125)^(1/3) = -(-5) = 5
----------------------------
I don't have that calculator so cannot describe
how to enter the problem.
-----------------------------
If you can enter -(-125)^(1/3)
