Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5-2/(x-6)=(10-2x)/(x-6)
--------
Multiply both sides by (x-6) to get:
5(x-6) -2 = 10-2x
5x-30-2 = 10-2x
7x = 42
x = 6
--------
x = 6 cannot be a solution as it
would put zeroes in the denominator of
the original equation.
