Question 1111425: A vendor sold 12 punds of coffee and 10 pounds of tea to one customer for $65.18 and and 10 pounds of coffee and 12 pounds of tea to another customer for $64.18. Find the price of each per pound.
Answer by CubeyThePenguin(3113)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
C = pounds of coffee
T = pounds of tea

12C + 10T = 65.18
10C + 12T = 64.18

C + T = (64.18 + 65.18)/22 = 5.88

12C + 10T = 65.18
10C + 10T = 58.80

Subtract to get 2C = 6.38.

C = 3.19
T = 2.69
