If she collects the same amount of cans each week,
the numbers of cans collected after each week form an arithmetic sequence.
On week 2 she collected 126-88=38 cans.
During weeks 3 and 4, she also collected 38 cans each week,
for a total of 38+38=76 extra cans,
so by the end of week 4 she had 126+76=202 cans.
She must have also collected 76 cans during the first two weeks (week 1 and week 2),
but since she had 88 weeks in her collection by the end of week 2,
she must have started with 88-76=12 cans before she started her week 1 collection.
