Question 1043801: I'm tempted to distribute and simplify but there may be an easier way??
Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How would you factor:
(X-3)^2 x (2x+1)^3 + (x-3)^3 x (2x+1)^2
---------
Don't use x for multiply, it's confusing.
Use * (Shift 8)
(X-3)^2*(2x+1)^3 + (x-3)^3*(2x+1)^2
Factor out common terms, (x-3) and (2x+1)
