Question 103867: I am having a hard time with this one
square root 5x+10-5=0
a 3
b -5
c -9
d no solution

Answer by checkley75(3666)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
sqrt(5x+10-5)=0
sqrt(5x+5)=0
sqrt5(x+1)=0
3,-5 & -9 are not solutions.
proof
sqrt(5*3+10-5)=0
sqrt(15+10-5)=0
sqrt(20)=0
4.47 does not=0
sqrt(5*-5=10-5)=0
sqrt(-25+10-5)=0
sqrt(-20)=0
4.47i still does not=0
sqrt(5*-9+10-5)=0
sqrt(-45+10-5)=0
sqrt(-40)=0
6.32i does not=0
