Question 1007556: Solve the equation using the factoring or square root method.
(x)/(x-1)+(4)/(x)=(x+2)/(x)
Answer by CubeyThePenguin(3113) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x/(x-1) + 4/x = (x+2)/x
Multiply both sides by x(x-1).
x^2 + 4(x-1) = (x+2)(x-1)
x^2 + 4x - 4 = x^2 + x - 2
4x - 4 = x - 2
3x = 2
x = 2/3
