It is easy to get the wrong number. Your mistake is that you did not change the sign. A minus or negative before a parenthesis gets changed to a the opposite sign. Anything in the parenthesis get changed to the opposite sign. So your question would look like this.
-3+(-2)+(+3)
-5+(+3)=-2

-3 + (-2) - (-3)
-3 + (-2) = -5
-5 -1(-3)
-1 x -3 = 3
Therefore:
-5 + 3 = -2
