Answer by checkley71(8403) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/2(X+12)=1/3X
X/2+6=X/3
X/2-X/3=-6
(3X-2X)/6=-6 COMBINE THE X's & CROSS MULTIPLY.
X=-36 SOLUTION
PROOF
1/2(-36+12)=-36/3
1/2(-24)=-12
-12=-12
