put this solution on YOUR website!evaluate -6-2 when the signs are the same add the numbers and keep the sign:
-(6+2)=-8
Conceptually, think of being on top of the ocean, if you dive -6 ft, then went -2 feet lower, you'd be -8 ft below the top of the ocean.
