Let's first expand the right side to get .4z-.15=.65-1.8%2B.6z or .4z-.15=-1.15%2B.6z. Subtracting .4z from both sides gives us -.15=-1.15%2B.2z and then adding 1.15 to both sides gives 1=.2z. Now we just divide both sides by .2 to get 5=z.
