Question 49872: The book says the answer to my question is 7/40. But i dont see how they got that answer when the problem is : -1/5 + 3/8 . Wouldnt i have to multiply to get fourty on the bottom, and as far as i know this problem doesnt call for multiplication. Thanks for your help.
