To round 324,523 to the nearest hundred, look at the integer that appears at the hunderd's. The hundred's integer in this case is 2; If this number is 5 or above, increase the number prior to hundred's by 1; else keep the number prior to hundred's as it appears. Fill up the rest with zero's
So, 324,523 when rounded to the nearest hundred is 324,500
