This one isn't as hard as you think. In algebra there is a concept that says what you do to one side of the equation you do to the other.
So in 44 = 2m we need to get m by itself.
So I see that 44 is an even number and I see that 2 is also an even number so I can divide both sides of the equation by 2 to isolate the m.
22 = m is the solution.
