They look like a thin black tube stretched across a road and are connected to a "brain box" at the side of the road. The device registers one "count each time a set of wheels (that is, wheels on a single axle) rolls over the tube. A normal car registers 2 counts - one for the front wheels and one for the rear wheels. A light truck with three axles registers 3 counts. Suppose that during a one-hour period a traffic counter registers 45 counts on a residential street on which only cars and light trucks are allowed. How many cars and light trucks passed over the traffic counter? ( There are multiple answers to this problem)
