Question 17056: 7p+7=9-p
Answer by tjnw79(57) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
7p+7=9-p
First lets start with the 7 subtract from both sides.
7p+-(-7)=9(-7)-p equals
7p=2-p
plus the negative p to both sides
(+p)+7p=2-p(+p)equals
8p=2
now take the 8 and divide by both the p and 2
reduce number 2/8 to get
p= 1/4
