Question 1171831: -m + 8(-4m -1)

Answer by Edwin McCravy(20056)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

-m + 8(-4m -1)

Distribute the +8 to both terms with their signs

-m + 8(-4m) + (8)(-1)

-m - 32m - 8

The -m is the same as -1m

-1m - 32m - 8

The first two terms are like terms, so combine them:

-33m - 8
