Multiplying two positive numbers will result in a positive answer.
Example:
2 * 2 = 4

Multiplying two negative numbers will also result in a positive answer.
Example:
-2 * -2 = 4

Multiplying one negative and one positive number will result in a negative answer.
Example:
-2 * 2 = -4
