The sequence is : 1, square root of 3, square root of 5, square root of 7, and square root of 9.
I can tell that each time, you add two to the number, but I don't know how you would say that when using the (n)th term.

Question 93195: The problem given was find E(sigma symbol)x for the following set of numbers: 2,3,5,6,8,9,11. I have read all I can find and can figure out that x=2 would go under the sigma and 11 would go on top but I can't figure out what the formula to the side would be or am I just suppose to add all these numbers up and give the sum?
