Question 976775: find a if (x+a) is a factor or x^4+a^2x^2+3c-s
tried x=-a

Answer by Edwin McCravy(20064)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
find a if (x+a) is a factor or x^4+a^2x^2+3c-s
tried x=-a
If you have no more information given about c or s then all
you can possibly do is what you tried. Substitute x=-a, set
it = 0 and solve for a in terms of c and s.
