Question 973247: 27, -9, 3, -1 whats next
Answer by crystal5213(2)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/3, then -1/9, then 1/27, and so on.
Each number in the sequence is -1/3 of the previous number. 27/-3 = -9 ; -9/-3 = 3; 3/-3 = -1; and -1/3 = -1/3.
Don't forget that a negative divided by a negative will yield a positive number, whereas a positive number divided by a negative number will yield a negative number.
