Gravity causes a body to fall 16ft during the 1st second, 48ft during the 2nd second, 80 ft in 3rd second, and so on. how far did the body fall during the 8th second
f(t) = 32t - 16
f(t) = 32(8) - 16
f(t) = 240 ft during the 8th second
:
and find the total distance it falls after 8 seconds?
F(t) = 16t^2
F(t) = 16(8^2)
F(t) = 1024 ft total distance fallen
