Next number should be 125.
Starting from 1, keep multiplying by 2 and 2.5 (alternatingly) to get the successive terms.
1 * 2 = 2
2 * 2.5 = 5
5 * 2 = 10
10 * 2.5 = 25
25 * 2 = 50
50 * 2.5 = 125 (next term)
