It can't and won't happen.
It will take one hour to go 60 miles at 60 mph.
If you reduce the speed, it will take more than 60 minutes but the car will be stopped after 60 minutes at a distance of only 30.5 miles.
After 30 minutes, you have gone only 22.75 miles and each minute you go slower
